Gp Capt Charles J Weir, Chief Flight Instructor
Capt Charlie, as he is known in aviation circles, has been a hardcore fighter pilot and Qualified Flight Instructor with the Indian Air Force for over 35 years. He completed his civil license requirements from AAA in 2008. He has a total of over 5000 hours of flying experience. Capt Charlie brings required discipline and method to flight instruction and is a hard taskmaster as far as flying training goes.
Wing Commander J P Joshi, Chief Ground Instructor
Capt Joshi has also been a fighter pilot and A2 class Qualified Flight Instructor with Indian Air Force for over 35 years. He earned his Airline Transport Pilot License from US and India after retiring from the Air Force. He joined Blue Dart Cargo as First Officer on Boeing 737-200s. He has over 4000 hours of flying experience and wealth of knowledge and is very serious about his task.
Mr V K Mittal, Chief Engineer & QM
Mr Mittal, holder of A, B, C and X AME license, is one of the most experienced engineers in training institutes in India. He has served the industry for over 40 years and is considered to be among the best in the country. He ensures that the fleet is kept in perfect airworthy condition all the time.
Capt Chirag Vanwari, Pilot Instructor
Capt Chirag, an alumnus of AAA, chose to be a flight instructor on completing his CPL in Oct 2006 getting his AFI rating in 2007. Thereafter he has been dedicatedly training the students, and currently has over 2000 flying hours to his credit. With his affable manner, he is very popular among the staff and students alike.
Mr Satyajit Samantray, Maintenance Manager
Holder of open rated A & C, and X license, Mr Samantray has been with AAA for over 14 years barring a short stint outside. He is an experienced, knowledgeable and dedicated engineer, and keeps the fleet in pristine order. He also has experience of piston engine overhauling.
Lt Col V K Nagar – General Manager & Accountable Manager
Lt Col Nagar is connected with AAA since 2002. Having a varied work experience of over 39 years, he has worked in various capacities in AAA.
